We had a really good Lowrance seminar yesterday at Bass Pro Shops in Dieppe, New Brunswick. There was a good crowd and I answered questions for forty five minutes after the presentation was over. I used a mix of the presentation sent out by Lowrance and some of my own screen shots. I think a lot of folks don’t really understand what they are seeing when they first get a unit so I showed a few examples. First was a bait ball on the bottom, then one on split screen 2D and Structure Scan with bait, a thermocline in deep water, split screen 2D and Downscan with a school of Striped Bass under the boat,. I also had a 92 foot wooden boat wreck that I found that raised some questions and a small old building that I had seen on side scan and put a cursor on and navigated to which was a great point to get across. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make me welcome in the store.
